MURIEL F. “MICKIE” SIEBERT DIED

In 1967 she became first woman member of New York Stock Exchange. In 1977 she served for five years as first woman Superintendent of Banking for New York State. Ms. Siebert, 84, died of complications from cancer at Memorial Sloan‐Kettering in Manhattan on Saturday, August 24.

Mickie was Founder, Chairman and CEO of the Muriel Siebert Corp.. As recently as 2010, she was named by U.S. Banker Magazine as one of the “25 Most Powerful Women in Finance.
