Meeting the climate challenge for SIDS and Africa

The first Women’s Forum Mauritius takes up the innovation challenge for Africa and for Small Island Developing States during a high-level two-day meeting featuring women at the forefront of the climate and biodiversity movements. With the support and collaboration of H.E. Mrs. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, President of the Republic of Mauritius and herself a renowned biodiversity expert, Women’s Forum Mauritius will showcase the country’s remarkably rich ecosystem as well as its emergence as a successful hub for African business development.

Building on the theme “Meeting the climate challenge for SIDS and Africa”, Women’s Forum Mauritius (20-21 June 2016) gathers together scientists, policymakers, and business leaders from around the world.
